Currently working as the scientist in charge of the Transfusion Medicine Laboratory at the Royal Hobart Hospital where I have worked for 15 years and previously at the Alfred Hospital and Royal Women's Hospital in Victoria.

A member and active participant and presenter at ANZSBT for many years and was on the organising committee for HAA in Hobart 2006. Currently a member of ANZSBT, AABC and AABB.

In 2000 I completed an MBA from the University of New England. Lecturer at the University of Tasmania in the medical school and biomedical science courses.

Main fields of interest in Transfusion Medicine are ensuring the appropriate use of blood products and the continuing education of scientific, nursing and medical staff.
